Biography
Vu Hong Thinh Is an ethnomusicologist. Below are some of his published
research works:
- Special Research on the Moon-Shaped Lute
- The Gong Ensembles of the Xtieng Ethnic Group
- The Scales and Modes Issues of Different Ethnic Groups in South Vitnam
- The Ceremony Music & "Amateur Music" of South Vietnam
- Document Film: The Precious Gem of the Jungle
Besides research works, Mr. Vu also composes and teaches music. He is an
accomplished performer who plays many traditional musical instruments. |
